It is necessary to show up at the ticket office 15 minutes in advance to indicate your presence and to buy a ticket to the museum (compulsory even in cases where it is free: for Portuguese nationals and residents of Portugal).

IMPORTANT: Once the activity has finished, the tiles remain at the Museum to be fired in our muffles, and are not available for collection until 2 days later.

The tile painting workshops last around 50 minutes.
In these workshops, each person paints their own tile using the traditional Majolica technique.
The activity is accompanied by an instructor who begins with an explanation of the technique and gives guidance on how to paint a tile.
