Tile Painting Workshop

Service Description

The tile painting workshops last around 50 minutes. In these workshops, each person paints their own tile using the traditional Majolica technique. A monitor will be present to accompany the activity, who will begin by explaining the technique and providing instructions on how to paint a tile. After the activity is completed, the tiles will be left at the Museum to be fired in our kilns and can be collected from reception 48 hours later. IMPORTANT: I HAVE BEEN ADVISED That my tile can only be collected at a later date at the museum (at least 48 hours in advance). It is necessary to arrive at the ticket office 15 minutes in advance to indicate your presence and to purchase the museum entrance ticket (mandatory even in cases where it is free: for Portuguese citizens and residents of Portugal).
